Welcome to Designs in Sugar- it is a pleasure having you here!

  My name is Myra Govea de Arce.  I am a formally trained pastry professional and attended the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts formerly located in Atlanta, GA.  I am a self-taught sugar artist specializing in floral sugar art- most of my work is featured on my portfolio page, so please take some time to peruse them at your leisure. My work has been featured in Southern Bride magazine and I have a five-star rating as a cake vendor on TheKnot.com and WeddingWire.com.

I've worked extensively with couples, brides, venues, caterers, and wedding planners throughout the Memphis and North Mississippi area to make each celebration special and unique. My hope is that the work displayed in this online portfolio will inspire and help you in your quest for the perfect confection for your event.
